Portless iPhones

In 2021, Apple is going to be out with their completely port-less phone, the only port that is there now is the lightning port for charging anyway. Removing the 3.55mm jack was first ridiculed and now it is becoming the norm. So it is not exactly surprising when you think about Apple removing the charging port i.e., portless iPhones. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted this along with the release of a 4.7-inch LCD iPhone SE 2, but also five other OLED phones. Featuring two dual-rear camera handsets measuring 5.4 and 6.1 inches, as well as two triple-rear camera models with 6.1 and 6.7-inch screens. In 2020 it is also said that Apple will be launching 5G on its phones. Apple’s plan is to “provide the completely wireless experience”, implying that there will be no replacement port introduced. Kuo also predicted that Apple would have the iPhone SE2 would have a full-screen 5.5 or 6.1-inch design, and only a small notch to save space, also instead of Face ID, there would be Touch ID built into the power button. As appealing and innovative the predictions sound to be, these are still just predictions with incomplete details, primarily we are not even aware that how exactly would this said wireless charging work. iPhones have had wireless charging since 2017, but that needed charging pads and you can’t practically be having your charging pads on you everywhere you go, so certainly Apple will have to come up with something new. And although charging from a distance technology is budding, wherein charging your phone within a 3 feet distance is been around, it still needs to be developed further to have a commercial implementation.
